DEAD EMPRESS BACKWATER: Magg Slayer & Oleander Valle

A buncha boys are crashing the (in)famous trio of Magg and her twin daughters, permanently changing their family. Eastfalls and Valles have more or less stood as enemies for years now, but after defecting to the Backwater, Nash's once-favored daughter found renewed confidence, opportunity, and even romance with Viorel's eldest son, Oleander. Now, the pair are expecting the pack's only litter this year, hopeful that the worst is behind them and the future bright.

Much more assured than their sisters in who they are individually, this duo still starts out as thick as thieves. Yet even while being identical by appearance, as wolves they are less like the mirror-image of Aven and Neva and more like two different sides to the same coin.

Parenting: Alix and Axil are expected with permission of Dead Empress Backwater's leader, and so it is anticipated that they will be raised in a stable and supportive environment there. Magg has found her footing as a parent now, and while the boys will not be nearly as spoiled as their sisters had been, they will experience a more even and consistent temperament from their mother than the girls did. While they are christened just Valle at birth, they will be raised to know they are heirs to the Slayer name too, as well as the legacy of the Eastfall family.

Protective and an escapist both, Alix's knack for foresight usually has him safeguarding others, but the emotion and effort this can take burns him out quickly, causing him to retreat into isolation and daydreaming in cycles. Some might say his thoughtfulness is reminiscent of his uncle Matos... Virtually identical to his brother Axil. The base of his coat is a sandy-brown that ranges from the light tones of sunbaked lakeshore to the deep earth found while digging for clams. The darkest is at his 'points'; his tail (excepting a black tip), his ears, where his nose starts, and beneath his eyes. A mask of brown runs up the top of his snout and covers his eyelids while jutting down onto his cheeks and away from his eyes in distinct points. The top of his crown is sandy and speckled. He has the same large swathe of white banded by black across his shoulders and down his ribs that his older sisters have. His eyes are gray, slightly darker than the great-grandparents they were inherited from. Generous and fickle both, Axil is always pouring all of himself into something or someone, but that fixation constantly changes. He doesn't seem to notice the half-put-out fires of burnt bridges this leaves in his wake. Some might say his big gestures are reminiscent of his uncle Eros... LONE WOLVES: Kiona & Gatto

Parenting: Kiona will be raising Alaric as a single mother, likely as a lone wolf. We can play around with different dynamics from the overwhelmed mother, to overprotective, to carefree and will be largely determined by plotting out once a player is decided. She will be present, and doing her best... but the success of that parenting will be entirely up to us!

Alaric is, mostly, an open book as how he develops. Much of it will be shaped by the interactions he has early childhood and the player who ends up adopting him.
