Breeding Season '26 Registration
Breeding season this year runs from March 17th to March 28th, and any gestation periods will last 60 days exactly. Participants must complete a breeding thread and sign-up by filling out the form below and posting it to this registration thread. Threads that are not completed and archived before March 29th will not result in a viable litter. All eligible threads are guaranteed one pup, up to five sign-ups. If there are more than five, a lottery will be rolled on March 30th at 8 PM EST for the sixth and any consequent sign-ups.After confirmation of a viable litter, we ask that players of couples send their litter information to the Spirit of Wildwood account, including cub names, appearances, and any other information that is preferred we share. To see an example of what a completed adoption post looks like, you can view an example template here. Once all information has been submitted, any pups of 2026 will be posted in a special thread for adoption and/or record-keeping. If there is more than one pup, the adoption thread will be posted no later than 2 weeks before the first birthdate of the year, and if there are missing submissions they will be edited in when received by staff.

Age will still have an impact on fertility, meaning that only wolves who are 5 years old or younger will be able to carry viable litters this year.
Who can breed?
- Any wolf over the age of 22 months and older is able to breed.
- Pack leaders set the breeding rules in their pack. If a pack leader enforces a no-breeding rule for subordinates, then subordinates who disregard these rules will face the consequences that is set by their leader.
- We strive to respect the vast spectrum of gender identity and intersex individuals while maintaining RoW's realism standards. As such, litters can only be conceived by biological pairings that could realistically conceive in real life. In other words, one parent must have 'female' listed as their sex and the other(s) must have 'male' listed as their sex.
Additional Information
- Characters have the chance to either mate or breed. Breeding results in pups, while mating does not. Those who want to breed with the goal of reproducing will need to fill out the form below and register, otherwise they will not be able to have a viable litter.
- The number of puppies in a pack cannot outnumber the number of adults and yearlings combined.
- Please keep in mind when RPing March-themed threads that overly graphic threads will be closed and removed. Sexual assault and pornographic descriptions of breeding are 100% not allowed. Fades are acceptable endings to these threads.
