It felt as if everything in her life had led to this moment. Every stumble, every bruise, physical and metaphorical - she'd do it all again if it would bring her here. Nothing seemed insurmountable anymore, and maybe that was a bad way to feel, after what had just happened - after everything they had been through - but how could she regret it? Was it wrong to find one shred of light in all of this darkness?
She didn't care if it was. Didn't care if it wasn't the right time, or if it was too quick, or if others might think they shouldn't. There was nothing in that moment but Leo Vuesain, and that was the rightest Nori had felt in a long, long time.
It was a ridiculous extreme, she knew. Some work. They had a lifetime of work ahead of them, but it suddenly didn't feel like a weight on her shoulders - no, it was more like a light at the end of a tunnel.
"Alright," she said with a huff of laughter, sheepish this time. "Maybe more than some work."

She shook her head, smile softening a little as she studied him. "You don't have to thank me. Ever," she assured, tail set to a slow wag. "You don't know what all you've done for me." Pulled her out of this pit she'd found herself in - at her lowest, most hopeless moments, Leo had given her something to fall into. Something to believe in.
